Role Overview

The Senior Manager / Manager, Enterprise Partnership and Engagement is essential in nurturing a robust SkillsFuture ecosystem, dedicated to assisting businesses in their upskilling efforts as a core aspect of their operational strategy. This role entails strategic collaboration with businesses and intermediaries, including trade associations and larger corporations, to amplify SkillsFuture awareness and implementation, particularly within small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Development and Execution

  • Develop and implement actionable strategies to foster a vibrant SkillsFuture ecosystem that supports enterprises in their upskilling goals.
  • Engage with businesses to understand on-the-ground challenges related to employment and skills, refining strategies to create relevant SkillsFuture solutions.

Enterprise Collaboration

  • Manage relationships with intermediaries, including trade associations and larger businesses, to enhance SkillsFuture awareness and uptake among SMEs.
  • Promote SkillsFuture through participation in various events, forums, and engagement platforms, targeting businesses and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the creation of impactful SkillsFuture content for enterprise engagement across multiple channels.

Solution Development

  • Support the enhancement of intermediaries' capabilities to encourage and facilitate SkillsFuture adoption by businesses.
  • Design and implement a framework to evaluate the current state, gaps, and opportunities in businesses' skills acquisition, utilization, and recognition processes.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish an effective feedback mechanism with key stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting and data sharing to improve processes and program development.

Candidate Profile

  • Tertiary qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership management, stakeholder engagement, or a related role, ideally within the SkillsFuture ecosystem or similar sectors.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with organizational objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a successful track record of building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in program or project management, with a talent for identifying and resolving complex challenges.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to formulate practical solutions for workplace issues.
  • Project and resource management skills to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality work within tight timelines.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the SkillsFuture initiative, workforce development trends, and the challenges and opportunities within the Singapore job market.
  • A dedicated advocate for continuous learning and professional development, in line with our organization's values of innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning.

Note: Candidates with limited experience may be considered for the Manager position. Applicants without tertiary qualifications but with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will initially be offered a 2-year contract, with the possibility of extension or transition to permanent status, subject to the availability of permanent positions.
