Position Overview
As a pivotal figure in our organization, you will leverage your extensive experience as a CTO, CIO, or Technology Executive to drive cloud-based digital transformation initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. Your role will encompass the application of various AWS tools, services, and programs, enabling you to amplify your impact within the cloud industry.


Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance to AWS clients on enhancing their innovation velocity, optimizing IT efficiency, and maximizing the business value derived from technology through cloud adoption, focusing on people, processes, and technology.
- Lead the development of proposals for outcome-driven business-IT solutions in collaboration with sales, solution architecture, and business development teams.
- Ensure that developed solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, leverage common services, and fulfill business objectives regarding cost and benefits.
- Act as a subject matter expert in integrating business outcome frameworks with AWS methodologies, selecting tool suites, and executing design and methodology.
- Serve as the executive technical sponsor for key customer initiatives.
- Engage in industry events, sharing thought leadership on cloud technology and modern operational methodologies.
- Collaborate with system integrators and strategic ISVs across various customer engagements.
- Identify common patterns in customer needs and challenges to contribute to AWS publications, including white papers, technical case studies, and blog posts that promote scalability and standardization.


A Day in the Life
This role will support diverse AWS customer segments and industry verticals throughout the Asia-Pacific region. You will collaborate with internal Sales and Solutions Architecture leaders, advising our most strategic enterprise clients on transforming their technology usage to deliver substantial business value. Your primary focus will be on customer engagement, utilizing your personal experiences in cloud transformation to expedite their business outcomes. Additionally, you will contribute to thought leadership through writing and speaking engagements, while enhancing internal organizational capabilities.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in architecting and operating solutions on any cloud service provider (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI).
- Over 15 years in a technology-related leadership or executive role.


Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing substantial IT budgets, including cloud and non-cloud environments.
- Successful execution of large-scale migrations to AWS.
- Established connections with C-level executives across various industries.
- Recognized thought leader in the technology community through publications, presentations, or other forms of influence.
- Ability to empathize with legacy systems and guide organizations in applying lean-agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, or DevOps.
- Experience managing global teams and IT infrastructure.
- A career trajectory demonstrating increasing responsibility and the ability to influence non-technical executives.
