Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology-focused projects, particularly those involving cloud technologies and migration assessments, executions.

This role requires a dynamic and driven individual who can steer the project, anticipate challenges, and deliver top-notch solutions for enterprise clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cloud-based transformations and executing large-scale technology projects in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading cloud and migration projects: Develop and execute detailed project plans with milestones, dependencies, and contingencies built-in.
  • Stakeholder management: Connect with senior technical leaders and business executives, ensuring everyone is in sync and all concerns are addressed.
  • Planning & execution: Develop easy-to-understand project plans with Gantt charts, guiding the team through execution.
  • Proactive problem-solving: Anticipate risks and manage scope changes with ease, keeping projects on time and within budget.
  • Navigating enterprise environments: Work with large organizations, navigating approval processes and aligning with enterprise project management frameworks.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years leading technology-focused projects.
  • A minimum BA degree in Engineering, IT, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, and the challenges and benefits of cloud technologies.
  • Strong background working in enterprise environments, particularly in high-impact industries such as finance, financial services, banking, or insurance.
  • Experience managing projects as an external vendor or consultant, with a clear understanding of the complexities and nuances of managing projects as an outsider.
  • Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing documents and presentations for reporting, steering committees, and stakeholder updates.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to archive and recall memos, decisions, activity logs, and meeting notes quickly and efficiently.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, or Scrum Master are a plus but not required.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work within enterprise project governance.
  • Experience leading teams of 5-10 direct reports, while also managing 25-30 internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools like GanttPro, Microsoft Project, and Jira Advanced Roadmap to keep projects on track.
