Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager

We are seeking an accomplished food and beverage professional to oversee the daily operations of our buffet restaurant.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-volume restaurants, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation.
  • S/he must possess excellent communication skills, be able to lead a team effectively, and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Buffet Operations:
    1. Supervise the setup, replenishment, and breakdown of the buffet area during all meal periods.
    2. Ensure that buffet counters are clean, well-stocked, and presented according to brand standards.
    3. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food replenishment.
  2. Guest Service:
    1. Greet and seat guests, manage table rotations, and monitor guest satisfaction throughout service.
    2. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
    3. Ensure that guests with dietary restrictions or special needs receive appropriate support.
  3. Staff Supervision:
    1. Support the training and supervision of service staff in buffet procedures and guest service etiquette.
    2. Monitor staff performance and maintain a positive team environment.
    3. Assist in creating shift schedules and managing attendance records.
  4. Hygiene & Compliance:
    1. E nsure that all health, hygiene, and safety standards are met in the buffet and dining areas.
    2. Monitor food labeling, temperature controls, and cross-contamination prevention.
    3. E nsure that all SOPs and hotel guidelines are followed consistently.
  5. Inventory & Supplies:
    1. C heck daily par levels of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment.
    2. C oordinate with the stewarding and purchasing teams for replenishment.
    3. R eport maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
    4. P erform any other job tasks as assigned.
