Job Title: Service Operations Manager

This is a key leadership role in our food service team. As a Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our front of house operations run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Ensure buffet stations are consistently stocked with food and presented attractively.
  • Clear used dishes, cutlery, and glassware from tables efficiently to maintain a clean environment.
  • Reset tables quickly and neatly for the next guests to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining and buffet areas at all times.
  • Assist guests with basic inquiries and provide top-notch customer service to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly to prevent accidents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage stock control and proper storage of food and beverage supplies effectively.
  • Comply with strict food hygiene, safety, and handling regulations to guarantee the health and well-being of customers.
  • Support the setup and closing duties for buffet service to ensure seamless operations.
  • Play a key role in training new hires on service standards and hygiene practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or lounge setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential to deliver high-quality results.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is crucial to meet deadlines.
  • Basic communication skills and teamwork are vital for success in this role.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required due to the nature of the business.
  • Physical fitness is necessary to stand for long periods and carry trays or dishes safely.
