Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring all service processes run efficiently and meet company standards.
Receive and engage with customers, accurately capturing service requirements and ensuring clear communication throughout the service lifecycle.
Prepare detailed job cards for each incoming vehicle, ensuring accuracy in recorded issues, service needs, and technician instructions.
Draft and send service quotations to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring transparency and accuracy of proposed work.
Coordinate with suppliers to source and procure required truck spare parts, ensuring timely availability and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor and manage service workflow, supporting technicians with required documentation and updates to maintain productivity and turnaround targets.
Ensure high standards of customer service, maintaining professional and prompt communication from vehicle drop-off to delivery.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to service jobs, parts usage, and customer interactions.
Implement and uphold workshop procedures in line with safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a service or workshop operations role, preferably within the truck or heavy vehicle industry.
Strong understanding of service workflows, job card systems, and parts sourcing processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in service management systems and standard office software.
