Senior Commercial Lead

The Senior Commercial Lead will oversee the commercial and contractual aspects related to main contracts and subcontracts, ensuring timely mitigation of risks and effective project delivery. This role is responsible for reviewing external provider terms, providing contractual advice, supporting quantity surveyor teams, and managing contractual claims and disputes.
Main Responsibilities- Oversight of commercial and contractual aspects of main contracts and subcontracts
- Review of external provider terms and project deliverables
- Provision of contractual advice to the project through all stages: construction, subcontracting, completion, and hand-over
- Support to quantity surveyor teams in monitoring, reporting, planning, and coordinating their work
- Identification, assessment, and management of contractual risk
- Management of contractual claims, disputes, settlements, and resolution
- Effective communication with stakeholders, both verbally and in written notices
- Expertise in construction/contract law and different standard forms of contracts
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong understanding of commercial and contractual principles
- Ability to analyze complex contractual information
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of construction/contract law and different standard forms of contracts
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
