Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Onboarding Specialist to join our team at The Edge Partnership. As a key member of our Private Banking division, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless client onboarding experiences while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and risk management.

  • Manage the end-to-end client approval process for our Private Banking division, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Review and validate new account opening documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on clients, including source of wealth verification and adverse media screening.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete record keeping of all client communications.
  • Provide expert guidance on PvB CDD policy and procedures to frontline teams, ensuring adherence to local regulations.
  • Elevate higher-risk relationships and reputation risks to PvB Compliance for prompt attention.
  • Consult with functional experts as needed to ensure comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of daily processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Adhere to agreed Turn Around Times for assigned activities, as outlined in Document Operating Instructions and Service Level Agreements.
Role Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field of study.
  • A minimum of 6 years of working experience, with at least 4 years covering Compliance in Private Banking/Wealth Management.
  • A solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to Private Banking CDD/AML.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
