Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Onboarding Specialist to join our team at The Edge Partnership. As a key member of our Private Banking division, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless client onboarding experiences.

  • Manage client approval end-to-end, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Review new account opening documentation for completeness and validity, adhering to internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough client due diligence, verifying source of wealth and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with frontline teams to advise on PvB CDD policy and procedures, ensuring accurate data capture and record-keeping.
  • Evaluate and escalate higher-risk relationships and reputation risks arising from CDD to PvB Compliance.
  • Consult with functional experts as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the implementation and controls for daily processes, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Role Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field of study.
  • At least 6 years of working experience, with a minimum of 4 years in Compliance, focusing on Private Banking/Wealth Management.
  • A solid understanding of regulatory requirements relating to Private Banking CDD/AML.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English and Mandarin.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a keen attention to detail.
