We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Onboarding Specialist to join our team at The Edge Partnership. As a key member of our Private Banking division, you will be responsible for ensuring that all client onboarding processes are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage client approval end to end for the Private Banking division, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Review New Account Opening Documentation for completeness and validity, and ensure that all accounts are reviewed against internal standards for Client Due Diligence.
- Conduct thorough name screenings, adverse media findings, Sanctions links, and Tax red flags to ensure the quality of the Source of Wealth.
- Ensure complete and accurate record keeping of all relevant communications, and maintain the accuracy of data captured in our PvB system.
- Advise frontline staff on PvB CDD policy and procedures, and applicable local regulations, and escalate higher risk relationships and reputation risks arising from CDD to PvB Compliance.
- Consult with functional experts as needed, and contribute to the implementation and controls for daily processes.
- Comply with agreed Turn Around Times for assigned activities as detailed in the Document Operating Instructions and the Service Level Agreements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field of study.
- At least 4 years of working experience, with at least 2 years covering Compliance with a focus on Private Banking/Wealth Management.
- A solid knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements relating to Private Banking CDD/AML.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English and Mandarin.
- A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a high attention to detail.
