Hotel Concierge Job Summary

The Hotel Concierge is a vital member of the hotel team, providing exceptional guest service and support to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Act as the point of reference for guests requiring assistance or information.
  • Understand guests' needs and requests, providing personalized solutions for hotel offerings and activities.
  • Accommodate all guest needs and requests with a focus on guest service, anticipating needs and creating memorable experiences through personalized service.
  • Take responsibility and ownership for all resident and visitor services rendered by the Concierge section, performing tasks in adherence with the code of ethics.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Concierge section, aligning service standards and individual performance with Accor Values.
  • Deals with External Stakeholders:
  • Arrange and coordinate limousine services to ensure guests receive the appropriate attention from departure to arrival.
  • Coordinate travel, ticket, tour, and attraction bookings, as well as offsite restaurant reservations.
  • Deals with Internal Stakeholders:
  • Work collaboratively with Doormen, Porters, Reception, and Raffles Service teams to maintain good inter-departmental relationships.
  • Promote in-house facilities and inter-hotel sales, maintaining good inter-divisional relationships.
  • Address security incidents and guest complaints, reacting proactively when suitable.
  • Improves Quality of Product and Services:
  • Ensure guests receive an experience meeting brand Standard Operation Procedure (SOP), Raffles Hotel Singapore Local Standard Operation Procedure (LSOP), and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.
  • Adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WHS) policies and procedures.
Candidate Profile

A successful candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate in second languages, and be able to ascertain and address guest/colleague needs.

Focus on service with an eye for detail and an approachable attitude, working well under pressure, analyzing and resolving problems, exercising good judgment, and demonstrating professionalism.

Self-motivate and show good initiative in a dynamic environment, ensuring security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information, possessing good computer and property management system skills, and embracing change effectively.
