Job Title: International Franchise Development Specialist

About the Role:

The International Franchise Development Specialist plays a crucial role in expanding our global franchise network, identifying and securing new opportunities in targeted overseas markets. This strategic position involves leading end-to-end franchise development activities, managing relationships with potential franchisees, and ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assess franchise expansion opportunities in targeted overseas markets, leveraging market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans for franchise growth, including market penetration strategies and business development initiatives.
  • Lead the franchise recruitment process: sourcing high-quality leads, presenting compelling business proposals, conducting thorough interviews, and facilitating due diligence to ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Establish strong, professional relationships with potential franchisees and act as a brand ambassador in overseas markets, promoting the value proposition and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare and present franchise proposals, investment decks, and legal documentation with support from the legal team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Oversee onboarding and training programs for new franchise partners, providing guidance and support to ensure successful integration and ongoing performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and curriculum teams to provide ongoing support and guidance to international franchisees, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
  • Conduct regular overseas site visits to assess performance, provide expert consultancy, and ensure quality assurance, driving continuous improvement and growth.
  • Monitor franchisee performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted solutions to optimize results.
Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE 'A' Level / Diploma; candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Strong interest in business development, sales, or franchise operations, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and stationed overseas when required, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work arrangements.
