Cyber Event Response Manager Job Description

The Cyber Event Response Manager is responsible for providing business-centric ICG Cyber event response. This includes managing Major Incidents and contributing to stability initiatives driven by ICG Production Support and Product Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and communicate incident response efforts to ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Develop and maintain incident response procedures and playbooks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective incident response and minimize business disruption
  • Provide strategic guidance on incident response and risk management to senior leadership
  • Monitor and analyze incident metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response, with a focus on business-centric event response
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and negotiate with senior leaders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • CISSP or CISM certification
  • Experience with incident response frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27035)
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management
