Japanese Restaurant Sous Chef Lead

We are seeking an experienced Japanese Restaurant Sous Chef to join our team at RK Recruitment Pte Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for a talented individual to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our restaurant. As a key member of the management team, you will work closely with the Head Chef to determine menu selections and specials, develop new recipes, and assume duties in their absence.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and train staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing kitchen operations to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality food production.
- Leading and training staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Developing and implementing new menus and recipes to drive business growth.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a sous chef in a Japanese restaurant or similar establishment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
What We Offer
