Credit Counsellor

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Counsellor to join our team at CREDIT COUNSELLING SINGAPORE. As a key member of our case administration team, you will be responsible for managing and processing cases efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Case Management: You will be responsible for reading and understanding the cases in the system, examining supporting documents, and clarifying information with clients.
- Document Preparation: You will prepare and generate Debt Management Plan (DMP) documents according to guidelines, liaise with help seekers on document submissions, and submit draft proposals for internal review committee's approval.
- Client Support: You will schedule clearance sessions, queue draft proposals for sending to creditors, update team spreadsheets, and scan case documents into the system.
- Team Collaboration: You will relieve team members when required, perform counter duties, attend to signing of documents, and adhere to new policies and procedures rolled out by management.
- Qualifications: A diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Banking & Financial Services, or Business Administration is required, along with at least 5 years of working experience.
- Skills: You must be meticulous with data entries and document formatting, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have empathy and patience.
The estimated salary for this role is $40,000-$60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive training, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.
