DBS' Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements and provides the highest level of personalised banking. We have a team of dedicated, experienced investment advisors who identify opportunities in the various asset classes and employ the best strategies and product vehicles to cater to each client's needs. Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver multi assets trade execution and advisory services in private banking, ensuring exceptional service for high-net-worth clients.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to cultivate and sustain client relationships, providing timely market insights and tailored portfolio investment strategies.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to assess clients' portfolios, formulating effective investment strategies that align with client goals, and meet individual sales targets and KPIs.
- Proactively identify and evaluate investment opportunities across a diverse range of asset classes, including unit trusts, ETFs, equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, structured products and private equity.
- Execute regulated activities while maintaining full compliance with the Bank's policies and regulatory standards.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by contributing insights and expertise in investment strategies within the internal sales team.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA, CFA, CAIA, or CFTe qualifications preferred.
- CACS 1 & 2 certifications and relevant CMFAS licenses required.
- Extensive knowledge of capital markets and awareness of emerging trends.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years advising ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Strong analytical skills with keen awareness of financial market developments.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes.
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills, with outstanding communication abilities.
