Assistant Investment Counsellor, Private Banking, Consumer Banking Group

Responsibilities
- Develop investment proposals that align with clients' target asset allocation and reflect their investment objectives and risk profiles.
- Collaborate with investment counsellors to build and maintain strong relationships with clients through a deep understanding of their needs and goals.
- Liaise with product desks to coordinate marketing efforts.
- Provide support to investment counsellors in managing and monitoring clients' portfolios.
- Gather information on economic, financial, and investment matters to support investment counsellors.
- Compile recommendation lists from various product teams to address client needs.
- Coordinate meeting and training schedules for investment counsellors.
- Participate in other duties and projects assigned, such as process improvements and risk management.
- Knowledge of modern banking solutions and system architecture.
- Basic banking and operational knowledge.
- Understanding of risk management, credit, operations, finance, compliance, and controls.
- Good understanding of financial and investment markets.
- Proficiency in computer skills, with Excel macro experience a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically across multiple dimensions.
- Knowledge and experience in the Greater China market is a plus.
