Job Description - Documentation Specialist (Manager/AVP), Corporate Credit Admin - BBCA (2400016 D) Responsible for managing a portfolio of complex credit documentation deals in a dynamic, cross-functional team in Corporate Credit Administration and Business Banking Credit Administration supporting Group Wholesale Banking, Commercial Banking, Global Markets, and Risk Management. The role provides independent oversight on credit facilities and credit risk, and works closely with Business Units, Relationship Managers, and Legal Counsellors (internal and external). Responsibilities Check documents – Credit Proposals, Credit Reviews, and Facility Agreements – against Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) to ensure timely, accurate and effective credit administrative support in granting credit facilities (bilateral / syndicated loans). Implementation and restructuring of credit facilities. Disbursement of loans. Redemption of loans. Annual review of the legal documentation for credit facilities. Verify approvals are in accordance with Credit Policy’s Lending Authority Limits. Ensure conditions of approvals, loan documentation comply with terms of approval prior to implementation/disbursement of facilities. Adhere to documented procedures, control guidelines, policy, and compliance framework. Ensure covenants, exceptions are logged, monitored & followed-up. Work with Relationship Managers, Risk Managers, and Legal Counsel (internal and external) on loan documentation matters. Implement facility limits, maintain accurate credit documentation and transaction records. Provide instructions and liaise with downstream departments (Credit Loan Administration) to setup loan accounts and tranche for disbursement. Manage and resolve business and customer escalations, ensuring communication and status updates are provided in a timely manner to stakeholders (BU, O&T, R&P). Contribute to improvement and quality projects to enhance productivity and service quality. Conduct regular reviews on operational processes/workflows, update control procedures manual, and manage ad-hoc projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (Singapore or overseas). Minimum 8 years extensive experience in Credit Administration and Legal Documentation review for large corporate banking and medium-sized business banking lending business. Experience in preparing in-house (Letter of Offer) and external legal counsel documentations (Facility Agreement). Functional knowledge includes: Property financing.
