About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Change Communications Manager to join our team at NTU. As a key member of the Student and Academic Services Department (SASD), you will play a critical role in creating and implementing effective change communication programmes for key initiatives within the department and other relevant projects at NTU.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop targeted change communication plans: Create engaging communication strategies to reach NTU staff and students on key student-related initiatives and other relevant projects like the enhancement of the student intranet.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with key stakeholders on change communication matters such as presentations, communication materials, and other related tasks.
  • Build partnerships: Develop solid partnerships with internal NTU stakeholders to develop, coordinate, direct, and facilitate strategic change management and communications that meet business goals.
  • Lead content creation: Oversee the creation of engaging content and direct creative execution to deliver consistent, impactful, and targeted change communication messages.
  • Design campaigns: Design campaigns to target specific audiences with an emphasis on campaign performance to inform future programme recommendations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in strategic communication, project communication, or equivalent in a large organisation.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in change management with the ability to effectively communicate and facilitate organisational change initiatives.
  • Strong, versatile copywriting skills to create engaging and impactful content across various channels.
  • A proactive approach in resolving problems and issues as they arise.
  • Critical thinking abilities coupled with excellence in crafting clear and concise messaging.
  • Good organisational, planning, and coordination skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • The ability to multi-task and re-prioritise as needed.
  • A desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and work independently.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • A sense of urgency; self-motivation, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Good verbal presentation and written skills, group dynamic, and facilitation skills for engaging communication.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and web content management systems experience.
  • Driven to achieve goals and deliver high-quality outcomes with a focus on measurable results.
  • Eagerness to seek out new knowledge, skills, and experiences to enhance professional growth and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
