
Employment Solutions Specialist

This role will work closely with the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager to review and refine implementation plans based on feedback and alignment with organisation goals. Experience working with Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) is highly desired.
Main Responsibilities- Expand and grow employer partnerships through outreach, industry talks, onboarding, and sensitisation, in line with the organization's objectives.
- Lead advocacy efforts in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), living wage, Core & Stable Scheduling, career progression, empathetic work environment, job redesign, and other key directions according to organisational goals with employer partners.
- Manage relationships with key employer partners, providing timely and relevant support for their hires, conflict management, building long-term partnerships, etc.
- Monitor changes in the employment landscape, understanding growth and sunset sectors/job roles, regulatory requirements, government schemes, etc.
- Plan and execute annual Employer Awards events and job fairs as required.
- Lead participation in national job fairs and other outreach activities.
- Develop and lead career coaching efforts for clients according to organisational goals and refine the scope where necessary for new addressable clients' bases.
- Develop, refine, drive, and grow Train-and-Place efforts to support bridging efforts in growth industries accessible to clients.
- Drive employment bridging efforts with the team to ensure clients are well supported and followed through, including case management and additional support where necessary, working with other departments, social workers, or befrienders.
- Manage the end-to-end process of employment bridging to ensure efficiency and meeting clients' needs from career coaching, resume preparation, interviews, placement, retention, negotiation, mediation, and conflict management.
- Oversee post-employment support with the team and manage conflict between employers and candidates employed where necessary.
- Work closely with Programme Development and Incubator teams to set up SOPs for Social Mobility schemes and ensure proper execution.
- Oversee, manage, and drive the team's success for social mobility schemes, providing insights for pilot schemes.
- Manage outgoing expenses for client-related training, financial support, etc., ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Responsible for team growth and performance, building capabilities in Employer Engagement, Employment Bridging, and Social Mobility programmes. Manage team expense budgets and identify potential significant deviations to the Executive Director.
- Oversee performance reviews, training, and upskilling of existing staff within the team to enable them to fulfil their roles outlined in their job descriptions.
- Responsible for reporting, including funded projects reporting. Analyse data provided by Monitoring & Evaluation to refine and pivot existing work to meet changing needs. Support the Executive Director in reporting to the Programme and Impact Committee (Board sub-committee) as required.
- Highlight new or changing operational needs requiring manpower, budgetary, and strategic provisions to the Executive Director.
- Support funder management as required by the Fundraising team.
- Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with the team internally and relevant external stakeholders to achieve the organisation's goals.
- A degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or related Discipline.
- 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, search business, career coaching, event management.
- Some people management experience.
- Passionate about foraying into the Social Service Sector.
