About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Employment Law Specialist to join our team and take on a pivotal role in shaping employment strategies across the Asia Pacific region. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to leverage their expertise in employment law, commercial issues, and transactional teams to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic advice to business leaders on employment matters, ensuring alignment with global operations.
  • Develop and implement an Employment Code of Excellence (CofE) across the APAC region, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external vendors to lead employment and dispute matters in countries without on-the-ground support.
  • Deliver training to managers across the region on critical frameworks, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • 14 years of post-qualification experience, with exposure to both law firms and in-house employment roles.
  • Proven track record in managing employment and commercial issues, with a strong understanding of technology-focused businesses.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of the APAC region, its cultures, and regulatory environments.
