Employment Lawyer (7-10PQE) Job Description

We are seeking an experienced employment lawyer to join our team. This is a hands-on, in-house role that requires strategic and day-to-day legal advice on all aspects of employment law.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience, including solid in-house experience, and deep expertise in employment law, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and day-to-day legal advice on employee relations, performance management, terminations, grievances, investigations, and restructuring.
  • Partner closely with the HR team to support workforce compliance, policy development, and risk mitigation.
  • Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements, including employment contracts and consultancy agreements.
  • Advise on workplace disputes, internal investigations, and potential litigation risks.
  • Ensure ongoing legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions and contribute to training initiatives for HR and business stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Deep expertise in employment law, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with HR and senior management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
