Our restaurant is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day restaurant and bar operations with a hands-on approach. They will lead and coach front-of-house staff, oversee opening/closing duties, and ensure excellent service and smooth shifts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations, including supervising staff, monitoring inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Drive sales by optimizing upselling, promotions, and events, collaborating with marketing to grow online reviews and local presence, and monitoring and hitting revenue and cost targets.
  • Assist in training new staff members on procedures and policies, and ensure that all staff members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in restaurant or bar management.
  • A passion for hospitality and high standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
