SMB Acquisition Business Development Specialist

**About the Role**
The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopees buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Seek out and develop relationships with potential customers and partners to drive business growth.
- Execute plans to acquire and expand business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Approach assigned merchant clients and support food retail owners on how to collaborate with ShopeeFood apps and features.
- Build and maintain relationships with merchant clients to drive long-term business partnerships.
- Support the implementation of advertisements and promotions campaigns with point-of-sale materials at retail selling points.
- Support resolving customer issues and work with other functions to propose benefits for food retail customers.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Prior experience in the food and beverage industry or sales in e-commerce, e-wallets, or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tough customers or retail food stores.
- Ability to understand processes and adapt to tracking work systematically and accurately.
- Hardworking, honest, responsible, self-motivated, and self-confident.
