Electrical Discipline Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Discipline Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Discipline Manager, you will be responsible for managing the electrical discipline within construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the electrical, instrument, and telecom disciplines within construction to ensure product quality and timely delivery to commissioning.
  • Work closely with the electrical design team to document project requirements and develop electrical work plans for electrical system and sub-systems construction, testing, and commissioning.
  • Study electrical drawings related to cable ladders, cable trays, penetration, system layout drawings, single-line drawings, and interconnection drawings.
  • Involves in electrical hot work fitting, cable termination, cable continuity checks, megger tests, and Atex inspections.
  • Create work packages by area or by subsystem.
  • Plan resources, manpower, materials, facilities, and P6 scheduling.
  • Give direction and assign jobs to subordinates for job execution.
  • Prepare the work condition for subordinates to work, including materials and facilities.
  • Monitor progress in meeting the P6 schedule.
  • Apply the Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology for all work activities.
  • Report daily work progress to the project team.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply (on-job training will be provided).
  • Understanding of construction schedules and analysis of critical paths.
  • Experience in managing vendors and subcontractors.
  • Able to handle projects independently.
