Electrical Discipline Lead

The Engineering Manager is accountable for the technical integrity of Electrical discipline projects. This includes ensuring safe, cost-efficient, and on-time design development.

  • Responsible for providing direction to technical services in Electrical engineering elements of project scope.
  • Technical expert in Electrical discipline, with authority to approve deviations from Design Basis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate engineering-related reviews, including design reviews and constructability.
  • Establish professional work relationships with contractors and direct their design efforts.

Requirements

To succeed in this role you need to have a B.Sc. degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. Additionally, you must be a member of a relevant recognized professional engineering association/institution.

  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in Electrical design in Oil & Gas Industry, with at least 10 years in offshore Oil & Gas processing projects.
  • Fully familiar with Shell DEP's and other international design codes and standards.
  • Strong technical, planning, communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
