Electrical Discipline Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Discipline Manager to oversee the Electrical, Instrument and Telecom discipline within construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring product quality and timely delivery to commissioning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical work plans for electrical systems and sub-systems construction, testing and commissioning
- Study electrical drawings related to cable ladder, cable tray, penetration, system layout drawing, single line drawing and interconnection drawing
- Conduct electrical hot work fitting, cable termination, cable continuity check, megger test and Atex inspection
- Create work packages by area or by subsystem
- Plan resources, manpower, materials, facilities and P6 scheduling
- Assign and direct subordinates for job execution
- Monitor progress in meeting the P6 schedule
- Apply Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology for all work activities
- Report daily work progress to stakeholders
- Coordinate with vendors, sub-contractors and engineering teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply (on-the-job training will be provided)
- Understanding of construction schedules and critical path analysis
- Experience in managing vendors and sub-contractors
- Able to work independently on projects
