Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Associate to join our team at Plain Vanilla Bakery. As a Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers, and contributing to the success of our bakery.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, providing high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages to customers, maintaining a high level of knowledge of our menu to recommend specific items and provide excellent service.
  • Work Station Setup: Ensure that work stations are set up before the shift commences, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Cleanliness and Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure sufficient stocks for daily operations, minimizing wastage and spoilage of food ingredients.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of service experience is preferred but not necessary, with training provided to those without experience.
  • Availability: Must be able to commit to work for at least 4 months, with a minimum of 18.5 hours per week (including 1 day on the weekend).
  • Skills: Good work ethics, initiative, and willingness to learn, with a warm and cheerful personality, and excellent communication skills.
  • Language: Fluent in English, with any other language a plus.
