Job Overview

As a seasoned Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with Financial Institutions (FIs) and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) across China, Singapore, and Southeast Asia. Your primary objective is to promote a comprehensive suite of banking solutions, including fixed deposits, bilateral loans and syndications, CNY settlement, trade finance, and bond issuance. Additionally, you will identify and acquire new institutional clients to expand the FI/NBFI portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a range of institutional clients, including NBFIs, banks, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds.
  • Manage end-to-end client onboarding processes, including KYC assessments, credit applications, and loan documentation.
  • Promote banking solutions to grow the FI/NBFI portfolio.
  • Identify and acquire new institutional clients to expand the portfolio.
  • Support departmental initiatives and undertake other assignments as directed by senior management.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a related discipline. A minimum of 3–4 years of relevant experience in relationship management or commercial lending within the FI/NBFI segment is required. Familiarity with NBFI structures, regulatory environment, and operating models is a strong advantage. The selected candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills, along with an analytical mindset and proactive working style. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is necessary due to frequent communication with Chinese clients.
