**About the Role:**
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Fleet IT Specialist. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end-users on board our vessels, ensuring that all IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
The role involves a range of responsibilities, including installing, cabling, and setting up workstations, PCs, and printers, as well as performing software updates and troubleshooting technical issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in PC hardware and software installation, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Install, cable, and set up workstations, PCs, and printers.
- Perform software updates and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Provide in-house helpdesk and technical support to end-users on board our vessels.
- Assist in the implementation of new IT systems and technologies.
**Requirements:**
- Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Studies or Nitec holder equivalent.
- Prior experience in PC hardware/software installation an advantage.
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
