We are seeking an experienced executive to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, oversee customer accounts, and drive sales and profits. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ocean and freight forward industry and be able to identify opportunities for account growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish strategic partnerships with customers, leveraging existing relationships and proactive networking.
- Develop and execute global customer account strategies, driving growth through high-level strategies and effective execution.
- Prospect target customers through strategic outreach and leverage existing relationships within the broader enterprise.
- Develop comprehensive business plans for each account, ensuring attainment of revenue and margin/yield goals.
- Formulate competitive pricing strategies and coordinate customer-based activities globally.
- Engage with customers at a senior level to assess satisfaction and manage critical situations.
- Collaborate across functional areas in development of solutions, proposals, and pricing models.
- Manage the proposal and presentation process, utilizing established processes and tools.
- Provide regular reporting on all accounts in stages for new business development.
