As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage volunteers and build strong partnerships with community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive volunteer management strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, corporations, and schools to identify opportunities for volunteer engagement and partnerships.
- Design and deliver training programs to equip volunteers with the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage the volunteer database and analyze data to inform volunteer engagement strategies.
- Conduct regular volunteer needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.
- Develop and implement communication plans to mobilize volunteers and promote volunteer opportunities.
- Assist in the development of appreciation incentives and events to recognize and reward volunteers.
- Identify opportunities for corporate volunteering partnerships and develop strategies to engage corporate volunteers.
- Develop publicity materials to promote volunteer campaigns and events.
- Manage volunteer relationships, including new volunteer sign-ups and engagement plans.
- Contribute to fundraising efforts by planning and implementing assigned donor and campaign strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum degree in Business or relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in volunteer management or a related field.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Excel and able to analyze data to inform volunteer engagement strategies.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
