As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing community-based programs, events, and advocacy initiatives that bring joy to seniors in our care centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from the public, private, and people sectors to overcome service barriers and stay ahead of the latest trends.
  • Empower volunteers to drive community-based programs, events, and advocacy initiatives within our service areas.
  • Support the conceptualisation, planning, and organisation of community projects/engagement to increase visibility of our services.
  • Recruit and reactivate volunteers, and conduct risk management measures and needs analysis for volunteers with the programme team.
  • Develop and uphold volunteer policies and processes, including volunteer recognition and engagement activities.
  • Conduct volunteer training programmes and partner with community partners to build volunteer capabilities.
  • Maintain and audit volunteer database and training records.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of volunteer partnerships and support the development and review of volunteer management policies and processes.
  • Work with social service organisations, community stakeholders, corporate partners, and agencies to develop community partnerships and volunteer programmes.
  • Support and strengthen stakeholder networks within communities where our services are present.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Ability to speak various languages and dialects.
  • Good stakeholder engagement and volunteer management skills.
