Human Capital Strategist

About the Role:

The Human Capital Strategist will provide expert leadership and guidance in HR disciplines, including talent management, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, regulatory requirements, legal compliance, employee engagement, business strategy, and strategic HR. This role involves advising business leaders on HR matters, reviewing and developing HR policies and strategies, and ensuring legislated/regulated controls are in place to prevent regulatory breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise business leaders and stakeholders on HR matters
  • Review and develop HR policies and strategies referencing local and global HR trends and best practices
  • Review HR processes to ensure legislated/regulated controls are in place to prevent regulatory breaches
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop hiring standards for recruitment and promote principles of fair and unbiased employment selection practices
  • Develop onboarding strategies to enhance retention of new hires and conduct exit interviews to gather feedback for better employee retention
  • Partner with business leaders to execute performance management process, champion employee engagement programmes, and foster an inclusive employment culture

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to negotiate and manage conflict effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with various stakeholders
  • Experience in payroll management, talent management, employee engagement, business strategy, compliance, and HR policies
  • Knowledge of labor laws, employment legislation, and HR regulations
