Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to drive engagement and revenue growth. They will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans, presenting them to internal and external partners, and ensuring strategic alignment and adequate level of support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to support our esports tournaments, global events, and products.
  • Presentation of marketing plans to internal and external partners, ensuring strategic alignment and adequate level of support.
  • Definition of global guidelines, timeline, and best practices for marketing campaigns across different esports experiences and products.
  • Establishment of a framework for distributing marketing assets to maximize ROI on content production and grow owned channels.
  • Collaboration with global and local content creators and community engagement teams on esports co-streaming strategy and execution.
  • Development of initiatives to grow esports distribution channels, such as content drops, engagement features, and loyalty programs.
  • Supervision of the updating and curation of content across our esports distribution channels, preserving relevance and quality for fans.
  • Management of relationships with online platforms to support esports and competitive gaming.
  • Measurement and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns, gaining insights and evaluating against goals.
  • Tracking of performance metrics and adjustment of marketing efforts accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the esports industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the esports ecosystem and trends, as well as social media marketing and analytics tools.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and willing to work on weekends.
  • Willingness to undertake frequent business trips.
  • Passionate gamer with a strong interest in FPS/Battle Royale genres.
