Global Community Manager

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies aimed at expanding, engaging, and building loyalty within the global community.
- Plan and oversee both online and offline community events, including tournaments and updates about the ecosystem.
- Cultivate positive relationships with players, fans, influencers, and partners to improve the overall community experience.
- Actively engage in community conversations across various platforms (forums, social media, Discord, etc.) to provide assistance, resolve issues, and gather feedback.
- Manage and maintain social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, etc.), online forums, and in-game communities.
- Create and share high-quality, relevant content that resonates with the community, including blog posts, social media updates, videos, and live streaming events.
- Collaborate with local marketing teams to ensure community-focused content aligns with the broader brand and product strategy.
- Curate and promote user-generated content to encourage further participation and engagement within the community.
- Lead the execution of localized campaigns across key regions (SEA, MENA, and emerging markets), ensuring alignment with cultural preferences.
- Monitor community sentiment, proactively addressing issues such as balance changes and bugs.
- Translate player feedback into actionable insights that inform game updates and community events.
- Stay informed about current trends, news, and developments in mobile gaming and esports on a global scale, with a particular focus on Singapore.
- Conduct market research to better understand the community's needs, preferences, and behaviors, using these insights to drive strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in community management, ideally within the mobile gaming or esports sectors.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the esports ecosystem.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments with excellent communication skills.
- Proven project management and organizational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, community management tools, and esports platforms.
- A deep passion for mobile gaming and esports, with a focus on building and nurturing a thriving community.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience working with international brands or cross-regional teams.
- Understanding of SEO, paid media, and influencer marketing strategies.
- Crisis management capabilities, demonstrating empathy when handling sensitive player concerns.
