Job Title: Greater China Market Development Lead

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth, build strategic partnerships, and establish a leading presence in Greater China. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for expanding our organization's footprint in the region.

  • Market Expansion & Student Recruitment:
    • Develop and execute strategies to increase student recruitment for postgraduate and executive education programs across Greater China.
    • Identify market entry opportunities, emerging trends, and growth areas.
    • Promote our brand and programs at industry events, webinars, and partner engagements.
  • Partnerships & Institutional Collaboration:
    • Negotiate and manage partnerships with local universities, education agents, corporates, and government agencies.
    • Evaluate and recommend articulation, dual-degree, or franchise agreements that align with our strategic goals.
    • Ensure our program offerings remain responsive to local market demands.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Operations:
    • Maintain full compliance with education, advertising, and data regulations in the region.
    • Set up and oversee local operations or offices, including administrative and legal functions.
    • Provide regular market insights, forecasts, and business reports to HQ.
  • Marketing & Brand Building:
    • Localize and execute marketing and outreach campaigns in coordination with our HQ team.
    • Establish a strong local brand presence through digital marketing, alumni engagement, and media outreach.
    • Organize info sessions, preview events, and strategic campaigns to increase brand visibility and conversions.
    Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international education, recruitment, or higher education business development.
  • Proven success in market expansion and student recruitment in Greater China.
  • Deep understanding of the education and regulatory landscape in China.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills (Mandarin and English proficiency preferred).
  • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
