About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Cloud Sales team at Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited. As a Cloud Sales Representative Intern, you will play a key role in promoting the growth and adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the ASEAN region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acquire new customer contacts and engage with customers through calls and other communication channels
* Qualify and create a sales funnel of opportunities and track in CRM (Salesforce)
* Educate customers on AWS products and services and evangelize key wins
* Collaborate with Cloud Sales Representatives and Solution Architects to drive sales and customer success
* Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
Requirements:
* Ability to profile customers from various internal and external sources to attain key business contacts
* Ability to listen to customers, understand their needs, and ask clarifying questions to qualify opportunities
* Ability to think logically and structure answers, and ability to deal with ambiguity
* Openness and ability to learn sales automation tools and processes
Basic Qualifications:
* Penultimate year student working towards a Bachelor's degree
* Able to commit to a full-time internship from January to June 2025
* Expected graduation in 2026
* Candidates must be able to legally work in Singapore
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Professional fluency in one of the following languages: Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, or Vietnamese
* Effective writing and speaking communication skills to engage with customers and internal stakeholders
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use Excel to provide data and present recommendations and insights
