Responsibilities:
  • Engage stakeholders across multiple domain areas to understand their needs, define and implement technology solutions and enhancements; and assist them in planning and managing budget for their digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop strategic roadmap for IT solutions that align with and smoothly integrate into NTU's evolving IT landscape, ensuring long-term architectural sustainability.
  • Develop high-level solution architectures, incorporating integrations. This may include leveraging existing systems, utilizing pipeline solutions, implementing new SaaS/COTS products, or developing custom applications using low-code platforms.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of technology solutions, overseeing the overall design, development, integration, and deployment of multiple systems and platforms.
  • Oversee and coordinate with internal IT teams, process owners and external IT providers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet expected outcomes.
  • Establish, monitor, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, standards, and procedures for both team members and vendors. Address any audit requests or queries related to these areas.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in IT-related industries with at least 10 years in IT project management and technical leadership role
  • Prior experience in both IT end-user and vendor environment preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse range of users, including senior stakeholders, in non-technical terms.
  • Strong capability to analyse and devise IT solutions to address complex problems.
  • Excellent managerial, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Tenacity to take on challenges and handle ambiguity; and manage diverse views and seek consensus through open discussion.
