The position reports directly to Manager, Student Administration. The incumbent is required to provide administrative support to MSc Programmes in the execution of his/her duties, which include but not limited to communication, media management, planning and organizing events/marketing events.
Key responsibilities:
Programme Operations: Outreach/Marketing Activities
- Organise outreach/welcome/convocation/events for prospective students, current students and alumni
- Raise Purchase Requests (PR) for catering services via Ariba system
- Prepare Invitation to Quote (ITQ) for outreach/marketing related activities
- Prepare workshop/seminar announcements for posting in SPMS
- Book venues for information sessions and seminars
Social Media
- Draft and organise social media content to promote MSc programmes, videos and media coverage on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Contribute to social media quantitative and qualitative analytics reporting
- Create and coordinate content for social media campaigns and observances with assigned marketing vendor
- Monitor and research influencers, trending topics and tools
- Source content within NTU and via web
- General social media planning, research, reporting and coordination as assigned
Writing and Editing
- Instructors' bios
- Photo captions
- Blogs
- Event descriptions
- Interviewing
- Copyediting
Photo, Video and Graphics
- Edit and format photos and videos for social media and web
- Photo, video and audio editing
- Photography and videography
- Infographics
- Gifs, animations and graphics
Other Administrative Duties
- Assist with annual admission processes
- Assist matters pertaining to academic services
- Assist in preparation and consolidation of data for reporting purposes where required
- Manage minutes taking during meetings and create PowerPoint slides for meetings
- Assist in any ad hoc matters as delegated as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or communication from a recognized University
- Marketing experience preferably in the Higher Education sector
- Proficient in Computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and adept in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and/or After Effects is beneficial.
- Candidate must be meticulous, people-oriented, customer-focused and a dedicated team player
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem solver and adaptable to dynamic environments.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize with competing deadlines Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment
