What the role is:

Tanglin Police Division, one of the seven Police Land Divisions in Singapore, supports the Singapore Police Force's mission to prevent, deter, and detect crime, ensuring Singapore remains safe and secure. We are seeking a Human Resource (HR) leader to oversee HR operations and deliver effective HR services within the division. This is a key leadership role that offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and dynamic organization, driving meaningful HR initiatives and progressive workplace practices to support a high-performing and competent workforce. The position is under the Management Executive Scheme.

What you will be working on:

We seek a driven, dynamic, and resilient individual to lead the Manpower Branch at Tanglin Division, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services, including recruitment, talent management, career development, performance management, and staff retention. The role also involves overseeing manpower planning for major police security events, such as National Day. The HR leader will support the Ministry and Police HQ in implementing HR policies and initiatives, promoting progressive workplace practices to enhance employee engagement and well-being.

What we are looking for:

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong passion for HR and people development

• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR systems

• Meticulous, methodical, independent, and adaptable

• Good time management, resilient, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

• Supervisory and HR experience preferred but not mandatory
