Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an operations executive for our company, Oil Field Supplies and Equipment Pte Ltd (OSE). OSE is an oil & Gas manufacturing firm located in the west (Gul Drive). Our main bulk of customers are located overseas and as such, we are looking for an individual with the ability to handle the following functions such as:


1. Handle logistics and cargo release.

a. Work with General Workers to come up with packaging details for cargo.

b. As and when required, to come up with packing details in advance for customer to kickstart their logistics pre-arrangements.

c. To create and release Delivery Orders and Commercial Invoice/Packing List.

d. To be accountable for cargo release and cargo content correctness.

e. To handle all customer platform/portal inputs pertaining to Ship Notice and logistics arrangements.


2. To handle Customer Order Status Update Internally and Externally

a. To hold weekly operations meetings with Production, Purchasing and Sales department.

b. To update Work Order Summary

c. To manage customer expectations with regards to order delivery schedule and provide timely updates to them.


3. To oversee/manage Purchasing department.

a. Working together with Purchaser and Production supervisor to implement cost cutting measures.

b. Working closely with purchaser for all outsourcing activities and local/overseas material purchases.

c. To assist with chasing and following up on delivery schedule for all critical purchases that will affect customer order.


4. To work with Sales…

a. and Purchasing department for sourcing of suppliers to handle any new processes from customer order requirement.

b. on all costing related matters for their quotation purposes, where required and requested by them.

5. To work with Production

a. To ensure committed customer order delivery timings are met.

b. To monitor work order status and have self-awareness to pick up on jobs and processes that are left out.

c. To solve potential issues related to Production bottleneck before it arises.
