Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead our Corporate Banking team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Department Management: Provide strategic leadership to a team of over 100 staff, including management of the LOA, RDT, and TRS teams to maintain operational standards and performance.
  • Operations Planning: Develop and implement plans to achieve operational standards and cost targets, and monitor department staffing and financial budgets to ensure performance alignment.
  • Continuous Improvement and Project Management: Implement effective processes to enhance operational effectiveness, streamline processes, manage operational risks, and drive system improvements.
  • Customer Focus: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen cross-regional cooperation and best practices, and establish and maintain service delivery standards.
  • Audit Support: Provide support for audits and effectively manage audit report results. Implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Operations Continuity and Staff Development: Develop future resources for the operations function through effective workforce planning, staff development, and training, and succession planning to ensure smooth transition of key roles in the department.
  • Branch Evaluation: Participate in branch evaluations by coordinating with headquarters on goal setting or performance metrics.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Work closely with the Singapore CEO and Regional COO to drive operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 15-20 years in banking operations, with experience leading large teams.
  • Hands-on experience in handling operations work and the ability to transform operations by streamlining processes.
  • Demonstrated change mindset or experience leading transformational change activities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
