Head Hostess

The role of Head Hostess at A OPERATIONS PTE. LTD. is a key position that requires a high level of hospitality and service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests and escort them to their tables.
2. Manage waiting lists and coordinate with the Guest Relations Manager.
3. Offer appropriate seating arrangements based on guest preferences and restaurant policies.
4. Receive and record dining reservations in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Set up dining rooms and make reservation arrangements as needed.
6. Ensure that all orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner, and that guests receive their food and beverages promptly.
7. Maintain clean and organized tables and work areas, and ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
8. Observe proper grooming and personal hygiene at all times.
9. Assist waiters and head waiters as needed, and provide support to ensure that all guests receive excellent service.
10. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
11. Manage the Hosts working schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
12. Attend all regular departmental briefings and contribute to an open communication within the assigned team.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry, with strong knowledge of fine dining concepts and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is required, and basic computer skills are also necessary. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for customer service and hospitality.
