Job Description
- Serve as the primary contact for SME clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests efficiently and effectively.
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and market dynamics to offer customized financial solutions.
- Identify and source new lending opportunities within the SME sector through prospecting and lead generation activities.
- Perform detailed credit assessments and risk analyses for loan applicants, evaluating their creditworthiness, financial stability, and repayment capacity.
- Provide financial advisory services to SME clients, offering insights and recommendations on business growth strategies, cash flow management, and capital allocation.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven track record of successfully originating and managing SME loan portfolios, meeting lending targets, and mitigating credit risks.
- Familiarity with credit underwriting standards, loan structuring techniques, and risk mitigation strategies in the context of SME lending.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and negotiate effectively.
- Ability to clearly and concisely convey complex financial concepts, both verbally and in writing.
