Position Summary

The Human Resources Administrator supports all aspects of the HR Department. He/She must possess strong HR generalist competencies including payroll processing skills and the go-to person for all employee-related issues.

This job position is important to the College’s educational success as faculty and staff are our most important assets. Influencing a cohesive and productive workplace and promoting the College’s values where everyone works to realize the College’s established mission and objectives is key.

The scope of work will involve administering the full spectrum of HR’s day to day functions and support the HR Leader/s in strategic HR management, organization development and HR relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Coordination of schedules and general admin support to the Key Leadership are also part of the responsibilities from time to time.


Duties / Responsibilities

· Keeps up to date with the regular changes in labour regulations and practices to ensure the HR policies and procedures are in compliance with labour laws.

· Provides suggestions and support when queries arise from leaders and coworkers especially in relation to work visas, contracts, family relocation support, insurance etc matters and execute them delicately with empathy.

· Coordinates the complete talent acquisition process cycle for both faculty and business office roles with good understanding of skills and competencies required for each opening including onboarding and offboarding administration.

· Supports the analysis and surveys on compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay schemes to ensure the College attracts and retains the needed talent.

· Proactive and experienced in working out total rewards packages of international faculty in line with the local labour laws and regulations, and proficient in various applications for work visas, online statutory reports and governmental funding support.

· Manage all the HR systems, HR and Staff Devotion Calendars to ensure timely execution of activities which may include collaboration with other departments eg Annual Appraisal exercise, Staff Retreat, HR Budget, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Disciplinary, Crisis Management etc.

· Performs other duties/projects as assigned.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills (bilingual preferred).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks with timely response.

· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.


Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.

· A minimum of 5 years of human resource management practicing experience.
