Roles & Responsibilities

Location : North, Sembawang

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

- Identify and target potential customers through market research, cold calling, and networking.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.

- Promote Astar Packaging's products and services to meet customer needs effectively.

- Develop sales strategies and techniques to meet or exceed individual sales targets.

- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored packaging solutions.

- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotes to ensure timely closing of deals.

- Address customer concerns and resolve issues/complaints in a professional manner to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

2. Product Knowledge & Presentations:

- Stay updated with the latest product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity.

- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to potential customers showcasing Astar Packaging's product range.

- Educate customers on the benefits and features of our products to drive sales.

3. Sales Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and prospect status.

- Prepare weekly sales reports and forecasts.

- Market research to identify new sales opportunities.

4. Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., logistics) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Education:

- Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Experience:

- Min 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or a related industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing client relationships.

3. Skills:

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to identify customer needs and offer effective solutions.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

- Fluent in both English and Mandarin

- Possess Class 3 driving license

4. Personal Attributes:

- Outgoing and positive attitude with a passion for sales.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
