Sales & Business Development Executive
Location: Sembawang, North Singapore
Full-Time | Packaging Industry
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and engage potential clients through market research, prospecting, and networking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive long-term business growth.
- Promote ASTAR Packaging's product offerings and provide tailored solutions to meet client requirements.
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and team targets.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations to ensure timely deal closures.
- Address and resolve customer concerns professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Product Knowledge & Market Awareness
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities.
- Conduct professional product presentations to educate clients on ASTAR Packaging's solutions and value propositions.
Sales Reporting & Market Research
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the packaging, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage client relationships effectively.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective packaging solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients).
- Possess a Class 3 driving license.
