- Create and manage shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
- Ensure all shipping documentation adheres to international, federal, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and sales teams to gather necessary documentation and information for shipments.
- Maintain accurate records in the shipping database and update shipment statuses in real time.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers and suppliers regarding shipping documentation inquiries and issues.
- Address discrepancies or issues related to shipping documents, facilitating resolutions with relevant parties.
- Assist in tracking inventory levels and ensuring proper documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in documentation practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Diploma in Maritime business or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office skills
