Senior/Executive, Training Ops

Job Purpose

  • Senior/Executive Training Operations is responsible for developing resource planning and training needs for Rail Ops, monitor training for effectiveness. This includes developing, planning and training the competency and proficiency of the trainees to meet operational requirement.

Responsibilities

Station/Train/Control Ops

  • Track and conduct training on Vocational Qualification Program and refresher training for new and incumbent staff
  • Plan training schedule and booking of the Cab Simulator (CabSim) and CBTC Simulator Facility (CSF) for the training
  • Plan and conduct eTest & eQuiz for Rail Ops staff as part of continuous learning.
  • Review training materials including question bank for eTest / eQuiz and enhance training methods and delivery
  • Develop and execute a Getwell program for the staff assigned by the line
  • Provide coaching for staff to enhance their competencies and proficiencies
  • Introduce learning aids and tools for staff to facilitate learning and knowledge retention
  • Support Workplace training
  • Track and update weekly/monthly staff training records
  • To close all training records via the Learning Management System
  • Any other job assigned by the Manager

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Degree of any discipline with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Operations and Training is an advantage
  • Required ACTA or WTP or NACE qualification to qualified as WSQ Trainer
  • Proficient Microsoft office and database software
  • Strong communication and writing skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Able to multitasks, manage expectations and timeline
